We have opening for the below roles South Indian Cuisine Bakery/Pastry Indian/Tandoor Chinese Cuisine Role Summary As a station chef (CDP or DCDP), you will own preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in your specialty area. You’ll collaborate with the Sous and Executive Chefs, mentor junior staff, and uphold the highest standards of taste, consistency, and cleanliness. Key Responsibilities South Indian Station Prepare dosas, idlis, vadas, sambars, chutneys. Manage spice blends, rice/lentil stocks; assist menu development. Bakery/Pastry Station Mix, proof, bake, and decorate breads, cakes, pastries and desserts. Maintain batch records, monitor quality, assist with new recipe trials. Indian/Tandoor Station Operate tandoors and charcoal ovens safely; prepare kebabs, tikkas, naans. Blend and grind fresh spice mixes; supervise marination and skewering. Ensure charcoal/wood supply and oven temperature control for consistent cooking. Chinese Station Execute stir‑fries, dim sum, noodles, fried rice and sauces to recipe. Wok‑toss proteins and vegetables at high heat; maintain station mise‑en‑place. Collaborate on daily specials and plating styles. Qualifications & Skills Experience: 2+ years as Commis/Demi‑Chef in a hotel or restaurant; specialized experience required for each station. Education: Culinary diploma or certificate preferred; food safety/hygiene certification a plus. Skills: Deep knowledge of spices, doughs, batters or wok techniques relevant to your station. Strong time‑management, teamwork, and communication. Hours & Shifts ~40+ hours/week on a rotating shift schedule (including early mornings for bakery and weekends/holidays as needed).
